Chapter 1

1: High — Class Escort

~ INARI'S POV ~

"You took my virginity, you must take responsibility!” The man who stood in front of me in half gold mask stated making my eyes go wide.

“I... Wait, what?” I stuttered. 

I had prepared a variety of speeches before coming and even planned insults to hurl at him, but after hearing his haughty comments, everything in my thoughts suddenly appears to have vanished. He is simply shameless!

 “But I paid you!” I said

“Really?” he gave me a pointed look, 

“Are you sure about that?” he asked me

I struggled to remember what had happened as I stood there speechless. I am certain that I paid him; what is he saying?  Shaking my head, I glared at him, 

“You are a gigolo, it's your job to serve me.” she said as he nodded, 

“Exactly! I'm a gigolo and since you've taken advantage of me, it's only right for you to take responsibility. Henceforth, you will be my exclusive customer.” he stated

"What?" I let out

Have you ever woken up one morning and boom, everyone around you is not who they were supposed to be or who you think they are? And then they are telling you, you are not what you think you are?

Like everyone else, I always thought I was human, I mean, what else was I supposed to be? An alien? But nope, I just found out that everyone is a darn freaking werewolf! Everyone! My mom, dad, my brother and even my own twin sister Inara! 

I only learned about it today because I will be eighteen in two days. My father convened a "family meeting" at which my elder brother had suddenly shifted, hairs sprouting all over his body and then my sister followed his suit, turning into a gigantic grey wolf nearly giving me a heart attack. 

No way, I  had actually lost count of how many times I        fainted. It was a little challenging to accept who everyone was, particularly my own identical twin. How could she keep me in the dark? I thought that we were both best friends?

I scoffed for the umpteenth time. I found it hard to accept that not just my family, but everyone I have known all my life were animals! Not just that but there's a possibility that I am also one of them and in two days I will be having my first shift. This is something I can't seem to wrap my head around. 

Now, how is it possible that I havn't found out about this all these years? How can I be that blind?

It explains why everyone in my family is so temperamental, they were all Alphas! My mom, dad, brother and even my own twin sister! While I was the only weak one in the family, one who was greatly protected by my family at all times. I felt stupid for naively thinking that their overprotectiveness was deemed mainly from their concerns about her weak constitution. It turns out that they were all scared of people using her against them because they loved her and she was their weakness. Now everything is beginning to add up.

That's right, right from birth, my constitution has always been weaker than even that of humans, I get sick at every little thing, and even slightly windy weather could cause complications in my health, unlike my twin sister, Inara, who was born healthy and had her first shift at thirteen. She's an Alpha who is almost invincible when battling with other Alpha wolves. She is swift and brutal like the rest of my family. Her reputation was unshakeable at such a young age, and many people dreaded her. 

After finding out the truth, I decided not to be the good and perfect daughter. That evening, I wanted to be the bad daughter for the first time in her life, so I sneaked out of the house through the window and headed to the club with my friend, Nikki, Who is also a wolf by the way. She is the Beta's daughter. However, I refuse to bring it up for I wanted to live a normal life as I used to.

As the clubbing type, Nikki was proud of me of course. She took me  to the best clubs in town.

 The moment we got there, I immediately knew it wasn't like the normal clubs people usually go to even though it's the first club I've ever attending. Hesitantly, I glanced at Nikki,

 “Are you sure this is the right club? This seems different I think?” I asked Nikki

Nikki practically bounced on her feet while nodding enthusiastically.

 “Of course, it is! This is Night Pleasure, one I've been dying to visit. They have the best escorts here! You are not doubting your decision for coming here, are you?” she asked me as she pulled me into the hall before I  could protest. 

“Today, we would have fun and who knows, you might find a boyfriend too.” Nikki stated

I hesitated and agreed. I would be eighteen now, finding a boyfriend wouldn't be a bad thing.

 The moment we stepped into the club, I saw someone I hated, which soiling my mood instantly. It was Vienna and her group of friends. Nikki followed my gaze and cleared her throat awkwardly.

 “Right. Umm, I forgot to tell you she's with us.” she said 

 Coincidentally, Vienna noticed as we approach them. 

“Well if it isn't daddy's girl. Finally grown up to attend clubs?” she smirked

Nikki stepped in front of her. 

“Stop it, Vienna!”

Vienna has always been a bully right from when I could remember. As the Gamma's daughter, she does whatever she wants cause she feels like she's stronger than I. 

“Stop? Why should I? There's a reason why we came here tonight and she's not up for it. I will only stop when she drinks this glass of alcohol then she chooses who she'd spend the night with. I bet she's still a virgin and doesn't know what it's like to have a man.” Vienna taunted me.

Yup,  I also learnt a lot of things about this pack, or should I say werewolves character, I learnt that everyone loved sex. It's in the werewolf nature. It is very common among them. The majority of werewolves lose their virginity when they turn sixteen, three years after their first shift. The puberty age. So yeah, It's nearly embarrassing to admit I am a virgin in the society as a full-grown wolf of eighteen years old. Especially when everyone sees it as nothing.

Nikki glared at her

“Alcohol?"vienna asked me

" Vienna you very much know she can't drink that! " Nikki protested

“Why? Because she's from an Alpha family but she's even weaker than a human?” Vienna said trying to get me annoyed

“You!” I grabbed Nikki's hand before she could speak.

“I will do it. I needed to clear my head anyway." I said

Vienna smirked and motioned for the barman to bring the best alcohol mix they have,

 “Fine.” Vienna smirked

I picked up the golden mix the barman brought then without warning, I down it at once, coughing at the bitter taste while pounding at I chest.

" Yikes. "

When Vienna set a bunch of dollars at the counter and raised a brow at me, I picked it up. 

Maybe it's the drink that boosted my confidence or something, but after picking it up with determination, I scanned the club looking for a male escort. 

"If I'm going to be bad, I have to do it all the way" I said to myself

“Nari, enough! You can't really be considering it, are you?" Nikki questioned anxiously. She understood me better than most so she can't help but be worried.

“No. I've considered it already.” with her eyes on her target, I proceeded to leave only to wobble slightly on my feet.

" I can't be drunk already, am I? Is my constitution that bad?" I uttered 

There were both male and female escorts in the club, each of them wearing a black mask, but one stood out from where I stood. He had broad shoulders, he was putting on expensive suits. An incredibly handsome, but daunting man standing by the bar, appearing distant while typing furiously on his phone. He was wearing a gold mask, and the arctic air made it hard for anyone to approach him. Although he was wearing a mask, one could see how breathtakingly handsome he was from his side features, with his thin lips, a tall nose and a jawline so sharp, it could probably cut through glass.

My throat went dry instantly. 

"How are people not rushing such kind of pretty escort?? " I asked

Seeing the number of women swooning over him, I quickly made up my mind.

“Him! I want him. If I'm to lose my V-card, I should at least lose it to a pretty man, right?" I asked Nikki

I was just about to leave when Nikki clammed her hands on mine, her face drained of colour.

 “You can't! Not him.” Nikki warned

“You don't think I drank that alcohol for nothing, do you, Nikki?" I slurred.

She gave a head shake.

 "You don't understand, you can pick someone else aside from him!" She tried to warn me again

“You also think he might be an expensive escort too? Not to worry, anyone capable of being my first must expensive!” I said

With that, I untangled Nikki's hand from mine and walked toward him. Of course, I was completely unaware of Nikki's intention to inform me that the person I was approaching wasn't just anyone. But a werewolf. An Alpha wolf at that!

I trotted my way to him then grabbed 100 bucks and placed it over the phone he was pressing and noddedd.

 “I want you for tonight!” I said to him

"wait, was that what I'm supposed to say? That made me sound like a sleazy cheap slut. Then again, isn't it cheap that I'm ready to sell my virginity? Argh, Nari! I should have asked Nikki for pointers!" I thought to myself

The man raised his head slowly to look at me, making me freeze on spot. I blinked my blurry vision at the sight in front of me. Goodness! He is actually more handsome than I thought, the Golden mask only seems to add to his charm.

But wait, why was he looking at me like that? Or am I seeing things?

 "Is it insufficient? I'll give you a thousand more." I tipsily retrieved the cash, adding it to the other dollars.

 The man raised his exquisitely arched brows in my direction making me grit my teeth.

 “What kind of escort could be so greedy?” I muttered subtly, assuming he was a human so he wouldn't hear. Little did I know that my words were heard loud and clear.

Finally, his luscious lips quirked up.

 “What kind of service would you want, miss? I am quite pricey. A High-class Escort." He said

It must be the alcohol speaking because I found myself saying, 

“The kind that happens in the bedroom?”
