The fabric looked like Micah against her naked skin, the icy wind somehow no longer bothered her, but in the memory of Alice - only fragments of that massacre remained, fragments of the expression of contempt that the monster that attacked everyone had on his face.

It was cold - she could remember.

It was cold to the point that she thought she would freeze there, that her heart would finally stop as the blood dried on her hair, on her clothes; after all, as much as Kalias possessed certain knowledge - he had no idea of how fragile humans really were.
