Prologue

Thud!

Heavy breathing could be heard amidst the silence as two bodies pressed up against one another, the sound of a blade cutting through the silence before laughter spread throughout the empty warehouse.

"Come on, you can do better than that." A man said, sitting on top of another man, laying on the ground, breathing heavily.

The man on the ground frowned before raising his leg in the air and grabbing the first man around the waist with his nimble legs and threw him over, getting to his feet quickly.

"That was dirty." The first man sat up laughing. "But I have always loved your … flexibility."

Twirling the knife in his hands as they flickered in the dark room, every sound either of the two made was amplified by the metal walls.

"Feel that?" The first man asked, pausing and listening to his echo as he pushed his white hair, trickled with specks of blood, out of his face. "It sounds like there is no one else in the world except for you and me. You don't know how much I wish that was our reality, Roux."

The other man rolled his eyes at the man in front of him before getting into a fighting position once again with his hands in front of his body. His messy, raven black hair falling over his eyes.

"Eh? Are you giving me the cold shoulder now, Roux?" The white-haired man asked, raising his eyebrows at 'Roux'. "Come on. I said I was sorry."

Gritting his teeth, 'Roux' charged at the man, narrowly dodging the blade and jumping out of the way as he swung at him, laughing all the while.

"Your movements are getting sharper, good job." He said taunting the other man while dodging every one of his punches and attacks.

The white-haired man bent down the moment 'Roux' swung his fist at him and stood up once again, only inches from the black-haired man's face, placing a quick peck on his lips before jumping away.

"Oh? Still shy?" He teased seeing 'Roux's' eyes widen as a blush crept up his cheeks. The man tried to cover his face with the long sleeves of his shirt, annoying the first man instantly. "Hey, don't do that."

Throwing the knife away, the white-haired man rushed to 'Roux' and shoved him against the wall, pinning his hands to the surface while the other man still attempted to hide his face with his bangs, turning away from him.

"Come on, sweetheart." The white-haired man said, slightly teasing and slightly annoyed as he placed both of 'Roux's' hands above his head, holding them there with one of his hands.

And with his free hand, he grabbed 'Roux's' chin, forcing him to look at him, a satisfied look came on his face as he watches the man's face become an even deeper shade of red.

Placing a soft kiss on his nose he whispered, "You're cute. Don't ever deny me the honour of seeing every inch of you again."

Gritting his teeth, 'Roux' headbutted the man in front of him, knocking him back.

"What th-"

Grabbing the man's collar, 'Roux' turned him over before he could hit the ground, the white-haired man wrapping his arms around 'Roux's' head to protect him from the impact as the two came tumbling down.

"What do you think you are doing?!?" The white-haired man shouted, sitting on top of the other man, carefully taking his hand from around his head. "I mean, I know you hate to lose bu-"

He paused as 'Roux's' hand brushed against his cheek, staying there while he looked at the man underneath him.

A soft smile was on Roux's face, staring at the man on top of him as though he was the most precious thing in the world while he played with the white hair, falling over his face.

Sighing, the white-haired man shook his head in annoyance, "Don't look at me like that. I will not be able to remain mad at you otherwise."

Without a word, 'Roux' placed his ring-filled fingers to the back of the man's neck, pulling him down as the two locked lips.

"You can't just do that, Roux!" The white-haired man shouted, pulling away from him. "Have you forgotten? You need to take me to dinner and a movie first."

Ignoring him, 'Roux' tucked in some of his white hair behind his ears, eyes pleading with the man in front of him.

Chuckling, the white-haired man leaned in closer, close enough that the two were only a breath apart.

"Well," He said, lips inches from the black-haired man's hungry ones, "I could never deny you anything. Damn, when did I become this easy?"

And death is only a few hours away. We don't have time to be fooling around.

As the two locked lips and the taste of blueberry filled his mouth, the white-haired man couldn't help melting into it.

Well, whatever. To hell with death. I'm not giving up even a second with Roux worrying about it.

Man, if only death tasted this sweet. I would have thrown myself into it headfirst instantly.
