Amara POV

“What we’re you thinking, Amara? You could be dead! I could’ve killed you!” He snapped as he paced around our chambers.

“But you didn’t! I’m fine, and so it that servant.” I said as I crossed my arms and glared at him. Goddess, this man!

He shook his head as he pointed at me. “Do you have a death wish or something? Do you really hate me that much that you’d jump in front of me when I’m like that? You’re lucky all I did was that.” He said as he pointed at my blood soaked gown.

I furrowed my brows, “Hate you? You’re my mate, I could never hate you.” I said. Looking away from him in embarrassment.

The room fell silent.

I could never.. ever hate him. I don’t like him very much, but hate? No. Never in my wildest dreams.

“Then why?” He asked.

“Just because you go around all mad at night, killing servants, doesn’t mean I will sit back let you.”
