(Willow's POV)

No matter how hard I tried to look for Jordan, I never succeeded. Nobody seemed to know him at all and it became frustrating.

Two weeks and I heard nothing from him. I tried to take his advice and move on, get a job but I couldn't bring myself to do it. All I wanted was to be with my kind and it wasn't fair that he is depriving me a chance.

I tried to do it myself but I almost died yesterday. It was harder considering the fact that I have no one. I can't even open up to my new best friend and it is killing me.

I felt anger. I felt disappointed.

If I can't go to Jordan, maybe he will come to me.

The last time I shouted his name, he appeared.

But I have tried that already.

I went to the river eight times just to shout his name but he never came. I even looked deep in the woods but nothing!

The only difference was that I was in danger and it was dark.

Just maybe, if I scream for help in the woods at night, he might show up.

But what if I get into real trouble?

At this point, I really don't care. If he shows up, I won't let him go unless he gives in and helps me.

Looking around the river, I quietly leaned against a tree cautiously aware of my surroundings.

I'm about to do something crazy and I hope Jordan won't hate me for this.

I silently prayed not to run into a dangerous wolf that would tear my skin apart and feast on my flesh.

"Help!" I shouted.

No, that didn't sound real.

"I need help!" I screamed trying to put some emotion in my voice. I really need to sound legit.

"Help!" I cried and Jordan leaped out from nowhere.

He looked around and his eyes finally settled on mine.

Oh no!

The look in his eyes shook me to the core. He was furious and completely mad.

"I'm sorry" I said walking to him. "I know you said I shouldn't come here again but I needed to see you" I begged.

He roughly slammed me to the tree.

"Why don't you ever listen!?" He asked through gritted teeth.

"I just wanted to talk," I said, feeling the pain on my arms.

"Don't you ever do this again!" He began to drag me away but I pushed him off.

"You're hurting me!" I sniffed. "Wait! Just listen!" I pleaded. "Please! Just one more time!" He grabbed me again.

"I will not be responsible for whatever happens to you the next time you come here" he warned.

"I don't want you to be responsible but if you don't give me another chance, I'll keep on coming back until you listen" I replied but he didn't stop.

I angrily took off my necklace and that stopped him.

"Put it back!" He pushed me to the ground. I tossed it into the woods. "What have you done!?" He tried to look for it.

"You won't find it...argh.." I fell to the grass.

"I'll look for it" He angrily started searching the bushes. "You are unbearable! You never listen!" He said.

"If you'd listened" I painfully growled. He will never find it.

"You'll feel this pain until I find that necklace," He replied. "Or better still, I'll take you home. No, I'll take you to the pack house. No!" That was the first time I saw him worry.

Is he really worried for me?

He resumed looking for it while I wailed in pain.

I suddenly felt my shirt tighten around me and my sweatpants became too small.

The cracking of my bones sounded in my head and the pains shot up my spine like I was in a furnace.

"Argh!" I screamed. I couldn't see clearly but Jordan quickly turned to me. He slowly walked to me.

"Don't help me!" I gritted my teeth as tears rolled down my face.

I took a handful of the grass but my fingers grew out. I felt my toes painfully grow out too with the snap of my shoes.

"Oh my God!" I breathed.

Jordan only watched. At a point, it looked like he wanted to help but I believe he listened to me.

My skin shredded. Thousands of lightning shot through me. I was on fire.

I felt my fangs, my ears and before I knew it, I was standing on all fours.

Everything looked different. Like I was looking from different eyes.

When I looked at Jordan, he seemed different. He is normally distant but this time felt like he was trying to fight something. He took a step backwards and deeply breathed like he wanted to stay away from me.

Is something wrong with me?

He was battling something within him. He made fists with a distasteful look on his face.

No, I don't want him to abandon me. I need him now more than ever.

If only I could speak.

His jaws were set and he maintained his composure but after a brief frown, a slow smile snuck past his face.

He walked to me and went on one knee.

"Finally" He simply said and I felt his fingers in my fur. He spotted my necklace beside me and picked it up.

"Really?"

Yeah, I tricked him.

He guided me to the river but I tripped a couple of times before I got the hang of it.

I never knew what walking on paws felt like but it wasn't as hard as I thought.

Looking at myself in the water, I wished I could gasp.

My white fur was beautifully complimented by the moonlight.

It made me wonder what Jordan looked like.

My fangs were beautiful and my nose looked cute. My eyes remained black and I felt awesome but one question kept ringing in my head.

'How the hell do I shift back?'

I sniffed the necklace but Jordan shook his head.

Communicating as a wolf is really difficult.

"You are never wearing this again. It won't shift you back. You have to learn or you'll remain a werewolf forever" He shrugged.

Hell no! As much as I love being a werewolf, I don't wish to remain one forever.

"Now you need to channel that same energy into shifting back to a human. Think about your fingers, your skin, your hair or anything that makes you feel like a human" He instructed.

It was accepting the pain at first and yes, I did accept it alright but now, it is thinking about being human?

"I can't help you" He patted my fur.

My hair, fingers, skin.

How will that help me?

I closed my eyes and envisioned myself.

"You did it," I heard him say. I felt the grass on my skin. The hair on my body stood due to the cold breeze and my nipples hardened.

That was when I realized I was lying naked in the grass.
