　“Alec, I think we both need some time apart from each other to really think about this relationship and what we really want.”

Alec is dumbfounded upon hearing these words coming from his Rose. For a moment he thinks he has misheard but then he sees the sad expression on her face he realizes she did say it.

As he tries to process these words in his head, he feels his body going in into a state of shock for a minute before he harshly gets up from his chair and approaches her.

Seeing him angrily marching towards her, Rose also gets up. She was expecting some reaction from him but she wanted him to know she was serious about this.

As he gets in front of her, he asks with gritted teeth, “What do you mean? Say it again.”

His glare does nothing to her resolve. If anything, it pushes her to be more persistent in her decision. “I thought I was pretty clear. We both need time apart, Alec. I don’t think right now we are on the same page. And I refuse to spend time under your roof when we aren’t
