Chapter 68

The first few days after coming back from the wedding Rose seriously thinks about her life and what she wants to do. Her college is supposed to start next week and while mostly she can do her studies from home, she has to spend some time at campus too on certain days.

Initially Rose had assumed that once Alec is back, he would stay on and they would be able to manage her schedule between the two of them so that Henry can always be taken care of. But now with Alec off to California once again, she realizes this might keep happening off and on and that she should not rely on him. He hadn’t really made the effort to call or text as much as she thought she could expect from him. So, anything more from him would be impossible.
