CHAPTER TWO

"At least you will tell me your name," he called after her.

"Naya," she replied and ran off.

"Naya, such a beautiful name, my name is Seth!" He shouted after her.

Naya giggled as she headed back home.

She can't help but remnuscience on how cute he is.

She was just a few steps away from the house when she realized she didn't fetch any water.

She stopped on her track as she stared at the bowl in her hand.

"God, I'm so dead," she muttered under her breath.

She took slow steady steps towards the house. She sneaked to the last drum she was filling,

even though it was almost filled up but it still shows the vacancy of little quantity of water

needed to fill up the space.

"I will just wake up very early tomorrow morning and tell her I took my bath early," Naya

muttered.

She entered her room quietly. She walked to the stool. She kept her small lamb and she put on

the light before lying on the tiny mattress in her room.

It is her bed anyway. She kept reminiscing on the cute guy she met at the stream.

PALACE

Alpha Rohan was in his study room when he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in," he replied to whoever is at the door without raising his head from the book he is

reading.

Seth entered the room and he scanned the room for Alpha Rohan with his eyes. A smile settled

on his face which disappear almost immediately as he walks towards Alpha Rohan.

"My Lord, the messenger is here to see you," he bowed."You can go," he replied simply.

Seth nods his head, he bowed for the last time before eventually leaving the room.

Rohan is the leader of the pack. He is twenty six years of age. He always uses a mask anytime

he is going out so no one has ever seen his face even his mistress. Rumors had it that he was

masked up because he is too ugly.

Rohan is the real definition of "no mercy when it comes to eye to eye," He killed anybody that

trespass or dare betray him mercilessly. Heads fly in the air anytime he goes to war with his

soldiers. Rohan don't speak much probably because he doesn't like extorting his energy with

things that won't benefits him.

"Greetings," the messenger bowed immediately Rohan stepped into the palace room.

"Tell me, what is the news all about?" Rohan asked, staring at his messenger as if to read his

mindset with his eyes.

It is something he can do because he is really powerful which is one of the charisma that made

him qualified enough to be their Alpha.

"Alpha, the chiefs sent their greetings and they said you should hurry up about getting a Luna

because something terrible will happen soon if your Luna is not close to you," he stated, bowing

his head.

"Something terrible? To me?" Rohan creased his brow.

"Not only you alpha, but to every single soul in your pack," he replied.

Rohan felt all the hairs in his body stood the moment he heard that. He might not care about

anything but he cared deeply about his pack and the members in it that he doesn't mind risking

his life for the growth of the pack.

"Why the pack?" Rohan growled slowly.

He folds his fist tightly as he his teeth together.

"I don't know sir, rumors also have it that you are impotent," the messenger muttered slowly but

loudly enough for Rohan to hear.

Rohan's eyes darkened the moment he heard that statement and he stood furiously from the

chair he was sitting on.

"I'm so sorry my Lord, I didn't mean to say that," the messenger quickly apologized.

"Leave," Rohan ordered.

The guy bowed and scurried out of the room.

Rohan breathed out to calm himself down. He hates the fact that they are little to him because

he is yet with no Luna and getting a Luna is not something he can wake up from a slumber from

and get like that.

"You will feel it in your heart when you meet her," his master's voice ranged in his head.

Rohan stares at the palace room for the last time before eventually heading towards his room.

Naya's aunt place

"Naya! Naya!" Kihara yelled out naya's name.

She had just woken up and had walked towards the drums to check if Naya filled everything up

but was surprised to see that one had not been filled up.

"Don't let me call you for the third time before you get here or else start saying your last prayer

before you get here," kihara said.

Almost immediately, Naya scurried towards her. She was washing her clothes when she heard

her call out for her.

"I'm here aunt," she stated.

"What happened to the water in this drum? Don't tell me you didn't fill this up?" Kihara

demanded, staring at her spitefully.

Naya nods her head negatively.

"Answer me! Or did the river suddenly dry up and you weren't able to get the water I needed?"

Kihara demanded.

"No, I bath with it?" Naya lied.

"Bath? When did you wake up that you took your bath already? Are you lying Naya? Have you

started lying too?" Kihara demanded sternly.

"No aunt, I dare not," Naya replied.

She is only trying to sound confident not to die young but deep down she is shaking.

"Okay, is it even your problem if you lie because I know you won't take any water from this

house and tell me you want to take your bath today," kihara muttered entering the house.

Naya released the breath she never knew she had been holding, the moment Kihara entered

the house.

"Thank you God for saving me," she breathed out.

"Naya!" She heard her name screamed.

She needs no soothsayer to tell her that Kihara is about to send her on an errand again.

"God, let me just die," Naya muttered, feeling like dying.

She rushed inside immediately.
