CHAPTER SEVEN

PALACE

**Night**

Alpha Rohan was stressed after returning from a meeting at the other pack. It was an urgent meeting that demanded the attendance of all the Alpha's.

It was a long journey back home and to think that he exhausted all his energy at the meeting because he was the one doing most of the talking.

He removed his robe and entered the bathroom to shower.

He returned to his room after taking his bath. He tied a towel round his waist and was rinsing his face as he walked further into the room.

He stopped when he felt a present in the room. He looked at his bed and sat there, waiting for the diva.

He creased his brow in confusion whilst staring at her.

"I didn't call for you?" He asked, trying to calculate if he did call for her and he forgot.

He tends to forget things easily when he is tired.

"No, you didn't but you have been avoiding me and it is unfair!" Diva half yelled.

"Diva, not this night please," he replied.

Diva stood up from the bed and Started working towards him.

"Please, I'm not in the mood, Diva," he stopped her.

He walked towards his wardrobe to pick out his nightwear and Diva walked towards him.

She stood beside him, she didn't make any body contact with him because she knew very well what he can do to her when she does something he warned her against.

"Did you meet your Luna already?" She asked.

Alpha Rohan stopped searching for whatever he was searching for in the wardrobe as he brought down his hand and turned towards her.

They stare at each other in silence with different thoughts running through their minds.

"Answer me," diva asked more calmly this time.

It is an agreement that they both had to let go of whatever is going between the both of them once Alpha Rohan meets his Luna.

Diva is madly in love with him so she didn't think too much about it when he told her before agreeing. Moreso, she never thought he would meet his Luna anymore.

"No," Rohan breaks the silence.

Diva let out a deep breath of relief. She didn't realize how scared she was to lose Rohan until now.

"Then why are you suddenly cold towards me?" Diva asked.

"Nothing, too much work on my table and I need to clear them," he replied.

Diva scoffed.

Rohan sighed when he realized she wasn't moved by any of that.

He held her cheek and made her stare at him.

"I will spend more time with you when I'm done, okay?" He said reassuringly.

Diva nodded before hugging him tight.

Rohan sighed, not wanting to kill her away and causing another uproar.

"Diva, I need to sleep," he said, breaking free from the hug.

"Okay," she replied simply as she broke free from the hug.

She walked towards the door. She held the doorknob and wasn't about to open the door when she turned.

"Tomorrow, right?" She asked, facing him.

"Yes," he nodded.

She let out a soft giggle as she left the room.

"He will never find his Luna and even if he does, I won't mind killing her to have him," she thought as she walked towards her room.

Alpha Rohan fell on his bed after putting on his clothes.

"Gosh, she is such a headache," he muttered remembering how Diva was choking him earlier.

He closed his eyes to sleep when suddenly the image of naya's face flashed through his brain.

"Aish, that girl," he groaned, turning on his bed.

He kept turning and turning, trying to distract himself from thinking about diva until he eventually fell asleep.

Somewhere among the rocks

**Very dark at night**

Kihara walked into the place, she was holding a small flashlight since it was so dark.

She stopped when she saw the person she was waiting for. She is backing her with her usual veil on her face.

Kihara has never seen her face before despite her constant meeting up with her

She turned slowly towards Kihara and as usual the black veil is covering her face without showing any part of her face for her to even catch a glimpse of her face.

"I can see you are doing well, Kihara," she said slowly.

Her calm but devilish voice filled the air.

"Yes ma'am," Kihara replied fearfully.

"Good," she muttered.

She dipped her hand into the bag she was carrying and brought out a purse full of money.

"There, you can have it," she said, throwing it at her chest.

Kihara caught it.

"But you know she is my niece, I don't feel comfortable with maltreating her," kihara blurted out.

Guilty conscience is beginning to eat deep into her blood.

"So? How is that my business?" She demanded, her voice getting louder and authoritative.

If she can see her face right now, then it would have been bloodshot with anger.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Kihara apologized, bowing her head.

"Good," she turned away from her.

"Ensure you punish her and maltreat her to the extent that she will beg for death," she said.

"Yes, my lady," Kihara bowed.

"And…she turned back to her.

"Ensure she doesn't regain her power because the day she did, there will be trouble…she paused to stare at Kihara.

She smirked when she saw the fearful look on her face.

"And you will be killed," she said.

Kihara's heart skipped multiple beats immediately she heard that.

She didn't know this woman and she still finds it hard to understand why this woman is focused on tormenting Naya and making her life terrible.

It would have been better if she had just killed her than make sure she frustrates her own sister's life.

"You know what to do, do your work diligently," she patted her back before leaving.

Kihara sniffed in her tears immediately as she left. She regretted every single action of hers and sometimes she just wanted to end it but she couldn't. She just could not!
