The pain she expected did not come. She opened her eyes closely and saw that Simon was on the floor, holding his legs. His face was twisted in pain. Shawty raised her head and looked up. She saw that the person who actually shot him was the man who came in earlier and tied her. She frowned, wondering why he was helping her.

I hope it is not like she was escaping from the fry pan to the fire instead.

"Who are you? You are not Elliot," Simon said in a confident tone.

The man, ‘Elliott, just smiled. "Did you not message me to come here? You still don’t know or recognize me?" The man asked with a smile.

Shawty was also shocked; no wonder she felt that the man was awfully familiar, so it was actually Fredrick, just like she expected. She did not expect him to really come.
