Chapter Forty-Seven

Demetrius and I haven't had a full conversation in weeks, mostly mornings and goodbyes. There was little to no affection. I partially felt bad but I couldn't help the way I felt. I didn't understand how he could put his crazy ex-wife over his loving wife and family. Yet there she was back into our life, slithering and making her moves.
