One hundred and forty one

I sit once again in silence, I begin to hear a hum in the distance. I look up and stare straight ahead as a faint light no bigger than pin prick, which quickly began to multiply in every direction. Until the once dark prison was full of bright light that quickly surrounded me. It was all the power I had released being reabsorbed into my body. My flesh glowing and warmth invaded my soul. I could now feel the missing pieces of soul reuniting feeling whole again. Before I could relish in feeling one again, I felt an odd sensation in my center like a hot poker burning me from the inside out. I scream and claw at my middle; the pain only intensifies. The burning spreads to every limb until I’m consumed in heavenly fire.

“Rayne,” I hear my nurse calling for me. “Where have you run off to?” I quickly gathered my basket full of herbs I was collecting. “Sam,” I whispered frantically. Sam’s head pops up amongst the tall grass, grinning at me. I run to him “ I must be off, she can't catch us to
