Bonus Story: Adrian pt. 11

The new information I acquired from the Faeland both amazed and shocked my parents.

My mother looks at me thoughtfully. "It does make sense as to why I posses the special blood to heal wounds," she says.

I nod, my mind still trying to process everything. "It seems like Fae blood runs in our family, Mom. But why didn't you ever tell me about it?"

My father chimes in. "Your mother and I had no idea."

My mother reaches out and places a hand on my cheek. "We love you, Adrian. I wouldn't hide something like this on purpose."

"I understand, Mom, Dad. But now that I know, I want to learn more about this Fae power within me. I want to use it for good, just like I did in Faerieland today."

My parents exchange glances, and my father finally nods. "You're right, Adrian. There has to be a way to harness your hidden powers."

"By the way, how was your date? Do you love Anna yet?" my sister chimes in.
