MOSES'S POV

I heard my phone ringing after I saw her working out of my room, so I picked it up to see who was calling again.

It was my right-hand man calling.

I wondered what could be the problem this time around again.

He told me that my attention was needed at the meeting they were having downstairs about the well-being of the pack and all my other territories.

"There is a rumor going around about plans for an external attack on the park." He said on the phone.

I clenched my fist, who would dare try to make plans to attack my pack? Was he not scared for his life?

"Okay, I would be right there," I said calmly into the phone, even though I was boiling inside.

With my fist still clenched, I tossed my phone on the bed and started walking angrily downstairs.

I got to my study, where we normally had emergency meetings about anything about the pack and its well-being.

I met Louis, already sitting there with some other men.

"How authentic is the source of the rumor?" I asked, in a clear v
