MATILDA'S POV

I opened the door with shaky hands, fearing that there could be people out there who would see my nakedness.

I was scared that I would bare myself completely before the people out there, but still, I was scared of staying still in the room because I feared what he could do to me if I remained there.

I walked slowly outside, looking around and feeling ashamed of myself that the house would see my nakedness.

But much to my relief, the very moment I stepped outside, a white piece of cloth, which was enough to cover the torn parts of my cloth, was put over my shoulders.

I turned to the part the cloth had come from and saw one of the two women that had prepared me earlier standing there with me.

She smiled at me and gestured to me that we should go.

"Come with me," she said with a soft, calm voice.

I followed after her and let her lead me, she put her arms around my shoulder and we walked till we got to the room they had prepared for me earlier.
