She was making the situation very difficult for me, I couldn't take risks, not after having brought her, having had my pack bring her from the witches' territory, if someone found out about that, I would be finished, that could be a simple excuse to start a war again.

"Please, just let me prove to you that I wasn't wrong to have chosen you as my mate," I tell her with a lot of sincerity. She managed to speed up my heartbeat, making me lose control of my emotions.

She gave an enormous sigh, before speaking again....

"If I agreed to stay, you must promise that you will treat me with respect, and that you will not try to have sex with me again without my consent," she tells me very seriously, with a certain reproachful tone.

"Ok, I accepted your condition, that although it won't be easy for me to follow it to the letter, I can only assure you that I will do my best to respect you, and respect your conditions, while you must eat, and then you must change your clothes, you can use some of my shirts in the meantime, I will send someone to buy you clothes," I tell her with some tact, so as not to make her feel uncomfortable.

"Adam, I need you to send someone to buy women's clothes, in my mate's size. I want her to feel comfortable in this place, and also personal hygiene items," I ordered him seriously, while I check my papers.

"Yes, alpha I will send someone immediately" He answers me quickly, and then leaves the office.

Adam, has always been my right hand, my right-hand man. Thanks to him I am alive, because more than once they have tried to kill me, but they have not succeeded because of how efficient and united my pack is.

After so much talking, and too much insistence on his part, I decided to accept his proposal to stay, but I have not accepted nor do I believe that I will accept the proposal to be his mate.

The idea of belonging to a pack of wolves, and above all of being the future wife of an alpha, the truth did not call my attention; I wanted to lead a simple life, a quiet life, without having problems with anyone, just be quiet in my solitude, while I gathered enough money to investigate who my parents were, and why they abandoned me in the middle of nowhere when I was just a little baby, it was as if they had not wanted me to survive.
