Regrets

She'd grown up without parents or a loving family, and though she'd managed to make some friends here in The City, she was far too lonely for her own good. He had never known any other woman who felt the way he did when he first laid eyes on her, and if this was their only chance at happiness together, then Alaric would not pass it by without making it count.
