“Okay, just kill the thief, right?” I ask.

Serena was silent momentarily as if she didn't understand what I meant.

“When and where was the lost necklace discovered?” I looked over at Edna.

“About 30 minutes ago, at this place.” She replies.

I smiled faintly. "30 minutes ago, Kelsey wasn't in the lobby; how did she steal the necklace?"

Edna glared indignantly said. “Sir Brian, I know you want to cover your servant. But without proof, you blatantly say one sentence means she is innocent?" Edna is like a dog, fiercely biting Kelsey and not letting go.

I looked at her coldly and asked. “So where is the proof you say Kelsey took your necklace?”

“It was Kate who caught it with her own hands.” Edna pointed to the woman who always stood behind Serena.

“Oh…” I stretch my voice, looking at Kate for a moment, a little familiar.
