Chapter 155

I didn't have time to react; I didn't have time to ask a question. But soon, I understood why Brian told me to run away. That helicopter saw us, but they wanted to kill us instead of trying to save us.

Waves of explosives were thrown down; bullets flew like rain. With great difficulty, Brian and I managed to escape into a cave. The scene outside turned into a mess; more than half of the forest burned like a disaster, and wild animals ran everywhere, screaming and crying.

Under their destruction, the forest full of life looked like the world's end.

In the distance, the helicopter looked for an empty place to land. A familiar face appeared; Richard led people wearing armor, guns, and other advanced weapons.

I heard Richard give orders. "Find those mice; kill them all for me. Whoever brings their heads to me will have a triple reward. Whoever you catch alive is rewarded ten times over."
