Ch 43 - This Is Unexpected

At the sound of the growl, Killian clutched his head as he was pulled into a vision. He was surrounded by darkness at first, until he heard voices. He couldn’t make them out, and the darkness slowly dissipated, but he still couldn’t quite see around him.

However, the voices became clearer.

“He will attack us and you know it,” one of the voices stated.

“I know that he will, but that doesn’t mean we should attack him first. His father failed in taking us out, so why would he succeed?” another voice spoke.

“You say that, but I’m telling you that there’s something different about him, about his tactics. He almost wiped out our surveillance team and you’re simply treating him like he’s nothing,” the first voice said.

“We have the favour of the Higher Powers. He will not succeed,” the second voice insisted.

“I won’t be around when shit hits the fan because I’ve warned you, and you’re choosing not to listen to me. You’ve got Isaac on your side as well, and I’m telling you that he will succee
