“An elf?” the sisters looked to Amaya.

“How’d you figure it out?” Hale asked her.

“I’ve been around for a long-time child. There’s not much I don’t know, but I’ll admit that I’m intrigued where you’re concerned. Your kind is extremely private, which is how I know that this situation is dire for you, especially if the Prince is investigating everything himself,” Amaya noted.

“How do you know he’s the Prince? He only said he’s royalty,” Cassidy questioned.

“His passion for his people – royals who care this much are often either ruling or going to rule,” Amaya replied.

Calypso turned to Hale. “Is she right?”

Hale turned to his mate, who in turn sighed. “You might as well tell them. They won’t let it go.”

He chuckled at that. “My name is Haleth, Crown Prince of The Vale of Ameran, kingdom to the most powerful elves in existence, but you can call me Hale.”

“Wow,” Cassidy and Calypso were fascinated.

“I thought your kind was a myth,” Amaya admitted.

“The existence of your son should’ve remi
