CH. 22 Wanting More

Aunt Linda just shook her head at us. “Don’t let your Daddy hear you say that” she gives me a hug “Now you two get outta here before I kick you out!” she laughs as she ushers us to the door. Riggin takes his eyes off me long enough to give Aunt Linda a hug and a kiss goodbye and the stupid butterflies that have taken up residency in my stomach take flight. He reaches his arm out to me. “Shall we?” he winks as he say’s it. I take his arm and we walk to his truck.

I lied to Riggin the first time I saw his truck. I was actually in love with it. I just didn’t want him to know. He opened the door placing his hand firmly on the small of my back as I climbed in.
