Chapter 4 Escaping Luna

I don’t really like lemonade but I’m hot and parched. I’ll just enjoy this as much as I can. “Aaahhhhh” I say after chugging the entire glass in four seconds flat.

Before I have a chance to say anything, I look down to see her taking in my scent as she walks around me in a circle. She is sporting that same smile that scares me.

Don’t get me wrong she is very beautiful and young. Maybe in her mid 20’s but this behavior could be a DEATH sentence for us both! If someone finds out or sees these strange things going on we could be tortured then beheaded!

Also, she is my Luna and I respect her. I don’t want to die before I’ve even LIVED! Im a virgin and have never even messed around with any she wolves yet. I’m too shy and am not in a rush like most wolves are.

Out of NOWHERE, she takes the glass out of my hand. Through my nervousness I quickly say, “thank you Luna.”

I get back to work as fast as possible, not giving her a chance to do anything else that’s weird or uncomfortable for me. She never takes her eyes off me I can feel it!

I just keep taking off board by board in overdrive! I see her out of the corner of my eye. She grabs a chair and sits and watches me work. Why won’t she just LEAVE already I think to myself!

Since I know what I’m doin and am almost a werewolf, I finish the job FAST! I get done before it gets dark. She had just sat there & watched me the entire time!

“Im finished,” I say to Luna Eve. She stands up, looks around and nods in approval. “My my you work hard and fast,” she says. “I’d like to go home now Luna Eve, I have an early shift working with my father,” I say.

She looks me up and down again, nods her head and says, “ok I will send for the driver.” She takes off towards the pack house. I let out a deep breath that I must’ve been holding in.

Thankfully she got the hint and agreed to it and let me leave! She’s a Luna, so she can do whatever she wants to do because she has a lot of power.

I take a quick seat while I wait for the driver to come because I don’t know how long it will take. A few minutes later the driver walks down to me and motions for me to follow him to the car.

I get in a very nice Mercedes and finally get to rest & go over and over in my mind the events that took place today. It’s been a strange day and I can’t believe I had to escape the Luna!

It was a miracle I got away without anyone seeing any of it! The pack house is well guarded by many warrior werewolf guards.

Come to think of it, where were ANY of the guards!? I don’t recall seeing any. I wonder if Luna had something to do with that?..
