Once Kane stepped out the front door, Syn turned to Angelica who had her arms crossed over her chest and was tapping her foot impatiently. How he loved that little temper of hers.

“Why do they think I’m their mother?” she demanded quietly.

Syn shrugged, “Because that is what you are to them.”

“I don’t have children you crazy ass Sun God,” She exclaimed.

Syn calmly took a step closer, towering over her, “They remember their mother… it is you who has forgotten them.”

Angelica rubbed her temples wondering how the hell to explain the fact that she remembered every moment of her life to a hardheaded delusional… she slowly smiled and happily pointed out, “They’re all older than me.”

“And you have lived many times,” Syn just as happily defended, wondering how long it would take to set that little temper of hers loose on him.

She opened her mouth to yell at him but seeing the expecting look on his face she snapped her lips shut and shook her head, “You know,
