Wisdom looks around at the Radiant Guardian pack as they drive toward a brick mansion. Einer is in the front passenger seat, he turns to look at Wisdom, “Remember what I taught you and stay focused regardless of what she says.”

“Okay,” she’s looking at the pack members lined up on both sides of the driveway. “I don’t want a war. But if it comes down to it then a war it is.”

Beauden pats her hand, “you got this. This is our Chickpea's birthright. She will have everything that's hers."

“That’s my Wissy, you deal with your aunt. Einer, Deshal, and I will deal with anyone that interferes.” Beauden rubs her thigh.
