Chapter 35

Lilly

  After getting back to the room and having Silvey look over me , Tank let me rest. He wasn’t happy that I was bruised but since I had no other injuries he let it go. He talked to Dr. Ramerez into waiting until morning to look at my eyes and just let me sleep. Tank stayed by my side the whole night. How we managed to squeeze into that tiny bed I’ll never know but we did it. The brothers came by through the night to check on me which was sweet.

Which leads me to laying in the bed Tank by my side and some brothers in the room waiting for the doctor. Silvey told us he is on his way to remove the bandage and check my eyes. I’m nervous as hell and excited at the same time. I’m hoping to be able to see again but I will not get my hopes up and I will take what I can get. I hear a knock on the door then it opens.
