It had almost gone dark when the match was finally over between them.

Layla gave him a hand to stand back; even though Jamil felt humiliated and angry because of this defence, he still managed to mask his disdain and smile lightly, taking her help.

As he stood back, she tried to mask her satisfaction and happiness for winning her first small duet against him by blinking her eyes in unease, then adopted a fretted expression in front of him before confirming his condition by interrogating, "Jamil, did you get hurt anywhere seriously? How about going to the doctor?"

He gazed at her expression, which looked seriously worried for him, but somehow, he found her displeasing after this duel and instantly covered his words with a lie, "No, I'm fine. This small fight can't injure me." He wanted to prove his strength still, and seeing that, she could only ridicule with a smile, "That's true, I guess; I just got lucky today."
