The bothersome newspaper

The alarm blared loudly, cutting short the dream Amy was having about a certain pair of dark green eyes. Those eyes would definitely be her undoing and even maybe the owner of them. She switched the alarm off before it could ring again. It was six in the morning. Her stomach growled noisily signaling how hungry she was. She had missed dinner yesterday and had barely had any of the meals served at the party last night.

As she stood from her bed abruptly, a sudden wave of excruciating pain struck her like lightning in her abdomen. Aunty flow couldn't have chosen a better time to visit, she thought sarcastically. It wasn't even that time of the month for her. She knew that because the tracking app she used had not updated her like it normally did. She dragged herself to the walk in bath house and performed her morning routine.
