Trying Out The Party

Third Person's pov

"Jessie, we need to talk about this," Xander said, his voice calm but firm.

"Your jealousy is getting out of hand. You can't keep throwing things at people just because you're feeling insecure." Jessie's eyes widened as she suddenly remembered the food she had been cooking.

"Oh no!" she exclaimed, running to the kitchen. Sure enough, smoke was billowing from the stovetop, and the pot of pasta was starting to burn.

The maids hurried into the kitchen, ready to put out the fire. But when they saw Jessie standing there, they froze. They had heard the yelling and seen the pillow fly across the room, and they were afraid of getting caught in the middle of whatever was going on.

"Um, we can take care of this," one of the maids said, her voice trembling.

"You don't need to worry about it." But Jessie simply waved them away.

"It's fine," she said, her voice shaky. "I've got it under control."
