Alys woke up a little confused. She was in her old bedroom and she felt like a weight was pressing down on her. Then she realized there was a weight pressing down on her. It was Aiden. They were completely entangled in each other, she was curled up against his chest his hard muscles rippling underneath her fingers, his heavy arm wrapped around her waist holding her tight against him his other across her back his hand resting in her hair, their legs intertwined around one another. Alys took a deep breath, and muttered to herself “Release the Hounds.” She heard Aiden chuckle as he looked at her and she blushed forgetting that he had wolf hearing. “The hounds eh?” He whispered in her ear, the he growled playfully nipping at her neck. “I believe we prefer to be called wolves.” “Don’t worry I prefer wolf too.” Alys giggled as Aiden snapped his jaws at her in a biting motion, then in walked four very tall, very muscular people. Aiden linked Dr. Clarke as soon as they got close enough to the pack borders so he and his team would be there to check everyone out as they arrived. Alys snuggled close to Aiden for most of the drive and he had to keep asking her questions to keep her awake which made Aiden a little nervous that she might have a concussion. She had hit her head very hard against the window, and then hit in the face by Cody shortly after.“Look out the window Alys, we are getting close now you can start to see the lake through the trees.” Aiden whispered to her. Alys smiled at her mom from her little nest of blanket. It smelled liked Aiden and it made her feel safe and calm. It had been a really busy morning and she was glad everyone seemed to be genuinely happy she was there. She already really liked Sara, she had such a warm and loving personality. Alys couldn’t believe how lucky she felt to be surrounded by so many amazing people already.“Is your room ok mom?” Alys hoped her mom was fitting in well too.“Oh its fabulous, I feel like I am on vacation at a fancy resort. The room has a big comfy bed, a little sitting area beside it, and a nice desk, a walk in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a nice soaker tub. Aiden’s parents asked me to join them for dinner this evening in the pack dinning room as well. They are very nice. Thomas told me last night that they have small cottages here that I can choose to live in as well. I think I may ask for one of those. Aiden dropped Alys on top of the bed so suddenly she squealed and started laughing, before he could turn away she grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him down next to her. As they walked together downstairs Aiden pointed out the different floors and what were on them, as a basic tour to start. Then they went down the hall off the stairs on the main floor, towards a lot of talking. They walked into a large room which looked like it could be a ball room but was currently set up much like a large dinning room with tables spread out around the room and along the back wall was a counter that was being replenished with food. “This is the dinning hall. Most of the unmated pack members eat their meals here. We have a full time staff just for cooking the meals. I’ll have to introduce you to the head chef later. I think the two of you will hit it off great.” Aiden explained as they walked in. Slowly as more people saw Aiden the room got quieter and quieter they were all watching Aiden guiding Alys through the dinning room. Alys walked into the suite and a smile lit up her face when she saw Aiden. He couldn’t help the big smile that spread across his own face on seeing her. She was glowing. “Did you have fun with Sara today?” He got up and walked over to her slipping his arm around her waist and pulling her in for a kiss. Her hands came up to his chest as she gripped his shirt kissing him back ever so sweetly. “I had a great day. I don’t know if you will be able to top it with this date. We even had sushi.” She tapped a finger on her lip as if thinking, he growled and nipped at her finger then leaned in to kiss her again. “Challenge accepted.” He murmured against her lips. “You should go get changed. And definitely put on that lacy number you sent me a picture of earlier.” Alys laughed lightly at his comment and went to bring her things into the bedroom. There was a quiet knock at the door and Aiden went to answer it. It was the rest of her shopping. “Thank you.” Aiden smiled and nodded at the pack

Instead of getting in his Jeep he continued to walk down the street with her, hand in hand. The weather was perfect for this early spring evening, a gentle breeze wound its way through the city streets as the street lights were slowly turning on as the sun set in the distance. They walked for a couple blocks, lightly chatting together before entering another old looking building. It was a beautiful book store. It had a small coffee shop in the front corner and three floors of books on old wooden bookshelves that reached floor to ceiling, there were even little nooks and crannies that had comfortable chairs and side tables so people could sit and go through the books. It had used and new books, used books being on the top floor. “I know how much you like books and coffee so I thought you would like to come here. It used to be the old city library, but they converted it to a store. It’s a unique building with some great coffee.” Aiden told her, as they waited in line for their coffee.
