Tabitha's eyes and mouth were wide-open when she opened her eyes to meet herself in the room Silas left her in earlier.

It took her a moment to contain what was going on, however her head was filled with questions. ‘Did he teleport?’ ‘What happened?’ ‘When and how…what is this handsome man?’

She turned to look at Silas who was just calm behind her. When their eyes met, he smiled at her after seeing the stunned expression on her face.

“I…what did you do, Silas?” She asked with her face still looking stunned.

“I have super speed ability, baby,” he bent and placed his hands on his knees to reach her level. He was taller than her.

Tabitha knew Silas was teasing her through the way he looked at her. His eyelashes graced his beautiful gray eyes.

And there was something about the way he looked at her; could it be amazement? Tabitha surely wasn't blind and had spent more than a month with Silas in his house, she knew his eyes' shape but the way his eyes shaped as he looked at her wasn't
