Chapter 31: THE BATTLE LINE IS DRAWN

Joanna's POV

When my eyes opened, Chris and Axen were gone. Yolanda was still sleeping peacefully like a baby as if nothing else mattered in the world to her.

I glanced through the window and saw a little girl walking down the street alone, out of the blue I felt a strong urge to devour her... My stomach grumbled loudly.

It was hunger again... Unbelievable!

I just finished three bowls of rice before resuming my sleep and now I'm here having some weird feeling to eat up a girl.

Back on the hospital bed, the urge kept flooding in and I was unable to resist the temptation to steal her away. I felt a surge of powerful energy wraps me up... I opened the windows wide, ready to fly down and pounce on my prey.

" Joanna!" Yolanda bawled, " What do you think you are doing? Have you lost your mind?"

She pulled me down.

I was so pissed off as she came in to interrupt my mission... Maybe I should eat her up.

" What is your problem?" I asked her.

" I should be the rightful person asking this quest
