Mysteries

Within an entirely different plane lay a force. A force lying in slumber for nothing in this present era feels worth its attention, for it misses the days when it was bathed in the blood of both its comrades and enemies. Now eons have passed, and time, from which it has long since unshackled itself, has no effect on its bones, but that may now seem more of a curse than a blessing, for its very mind craves something! Anything! Except peace. For that's all it sees in this era, so it took the best option... to go into an eternal rest, at least until something else that jogs its old bones comes along.

And on this certain day, something did happen. The wheel of fate trembled, this seemingly little act made a resounding deep chilling whistle throughout all beings that have tasted the power of the cosmic and divine! For the wheel signifies the fate of an entire era, and any deviation or out-of-place movement only means one thing: Cosmic strings have been cut, and the old ways have been revived! The platform has been set! The veil has been shattered! The fight for the heavenly throne is underway. After 300 hundred chaos cycles, the heavenly laws are finally back to raise the platform of blood and sand. A/N: (1 chaos = 10 billion years)

A force in slumber had the whistle, and eternal rest had been abruptly awakened , but for it was good news; it just means one thing - this damned era is finally coming to an end! And some fun will finally be had. Upon a cold blue planet, cracking sounds like earthquakes would have been heard if one were near; the entire planet trembled so bad its entire atmosphere became a mess. Fissures broke through the entire planet and gave it the look of a cracked egg.

"Boom!" A massive force tore through from the planet's crust up to its surface as particles of hard stones and dust flew everywhere, then in all the chaos, a hand could be seen supporting itself out of the fissure. If compared to sizes on Earth, just the palm was enough to cover an entire country.

The Earth groaned and creaked, as if awakening from a slumber of millennia. The sounds were eerie and haunting, like the lament of a restless spirit yearning to be set free. The fissures expanded, and with a final shatter, a massive figure leaped out of the chasm towards the sky. It looked down at the progressively crumbling planet in which it had slumbered for eons.

"After so long, my blood boils at the prospect of what's to come."

The being cracked a smile that was akin to that of a madman as it took a deep breath, feeling the entire plane it was in.

"Time to make a journey."

The surrounding air froze, as if listening to a command, and as if he never existed, he was nowhere to be seen. But the evidence of his presence and disappearance left its impact on the little blue planet, for after the second the being disappeared, the gravity of the entire planet warped on itself. An already crumbling planet went through the apocalyptic force that acted on it as it finally imploded. Now a once-whole blue planet floated with just particles of itself as it drifted across this dark, lifeless plain.

In a different plane lied a primordial creature of the night finding solace in the eternal night that plagued his castle, the whistle and Chimes of fate had stirred his old blood awake. He knew that times were finally changing, and it seemed he had to get back to the game.

"I wonder how Netherndel is faring, it's time I get back" his deep red eyes shone with a dangerous glint as he looked across the darkness, his eyes seemed to bypass the veil between planes for his gaze had a godly presence that came with it.

"Vade retro!" A hollow, eerie voice resounded from an unseen abyss. "Vladmir!" a force suddenly arose that repelled the gaze of our seemly mighty being to his present plane.

"This is not the time to piss off the Guardians, Vlad" seraphina appeared in front of Vlad, blocking his view from peering further.

"I doubt if they could take me on though my dear empress" Vlad chuckled as he leaned back on his bone - crafted throne.

"But they definitely can scream their heads off and make things unnecessarily difficult for your descendants, and I don't think we would really want that darling" seraphina retorted as she walked towards Vlad.

Her every movement was enchanting, she sauntered towards him gracefully, her alluring presence could cause any mortal or god alike to be stuck in endless captivity. The soft rustle of her flowing dress seemed to whisper a secret that only the stars above could comprehend, she is everything that beauty was made of and Vlad knew all this was his.

He stretched his hands and pulled her by her slim waist unto his lap, he wrapped her in his tender embrace as he gently caressed the back of her neck with his fingertips, she leaned in, her breath mingling with his, creating an intoxicating blend of desire. Their eyes locked, and in that intimate moment, the world ceased to exist around them. The soft rustling of their breaths filled the space, like a symphony of passion.

"Each time you come around your beauty still manages to astound me as the first time I set my eyes on you" Vlad said with a thirsty look in his eyes.

"The mighty Vladimir becoming a lover boy" seraphina giggled as she wrapped her hands around his neck, leaning more close just so her soft supple breasts pressed on his hard well-built chest.

"I was a lover before I became a fighter, Sera" Vlad replied with a cheeky smile, he pulled her closer to engage in the anticipated throes of passion. Time lost all meaning as they explored each other's necks, leaving gentle kisses that sent shivers in their spines. Every touch ignited a fire within them, and they surrendered to the depths of their ever known and fabled, twisted love.

As their lips finally met, the room seemed to fade away, leaving only the magic of their connection. Their kiss was gentle yet fervent, a dance of souls entwined in a sea of emotions.

"Did you also feel the Chimes?" Seraphina's sudden question chilled the atmosphere and put a stop to their ongoing romantic escapade.

"You sure know how to ruin a good time, Sera, should be your superpower at this point." " And yes, I did feel it, and would reckon everyone on the council probably did too."

"Don't you think It's time we convened a conclave, since times are clearly changing, I believe it would be wise to know where others stand." Seraphina said with a thoughtful look.

"We haven't had a conclave in thousands of years Sera, this stuck up bastards may not even show up" Vlad replied.

" Well in terms of arrogance I doubt anyone could compare to you, but in all seriousness, the peace we've had has stood for longer than I expected and with this movement from the wheel, I fear everyone is starting to plot. We have to curb any dangerous plans before it pose an actual threat to the balance we all fought for"

"Alright, guess it's time to wake up those old bastards, in the meantime, why don't we forget all that and focus on us Sera" Vlad rose to his feet with seraphina in his arms and like a sound of the night breeze they blended with the darkness, out of sight and out of mind.

Right here in Netherndel a different scenario was unfolding. Here in a decent sized room filled with different potions was Azaroth who was constantly tinkering with different bottles, and at the edge of the room was Alex who was still scared shitless as he knew not what to expect.

"Uhm…sir? I just wanted to express my gratitude for saving me bac-"

"I did not save you"

"What?" Alex said with a confused expression,

Azaroth turned from the potions and stared down at Alex, his very presence seemed to fill this peculiar room that lacked doors and windows.

"I said, I did not save you. I just delayed the inevitable" "After all, notes have to be taken halfling, so don't get too comfortable"

"So in other words... I'm fucked?" Alex asked as he his heart rate seemed to elevate once more, but this time from sheer anxiety.

Azaroth pursed his lips as if contemplating something. "Yeah, you probably are" he replied.

"But before all the gloom and doom, there are things I want to test out before we move on" he brought out a blue potion that had particles swirling in. "Drink this" he stretched it out to Alex.

Alex looked at the sketchy potion and did not have a good feeling about this, I mean, it would be stupid for him to take drink some random potion given to him by someone who is ready to unalive him at anytime. "Thank you sir, but I have eaten" he replied.
