Chapter 10: The Saddest Goodbye

Gracelyn's Pov

My phone woke me up. It keeps on ringing continuously. I picked it up and answer it without opening my eyes. I still feel sleepy.

" I am outside of your boarding house," a male voice said.

I recognize this voice. It's Melo!

" What are you doing down there ? ", I asked surprised.

" I just want us to have one last date if you'll allow it,"he pleaded.

" Sure, just wait for a few minutes", i said and hung up.

Melo and I needed this. We need to talk calmly. I hope Melo already accepted my honest decision. I know I've hurt him and he maybe is still hurting inside but I can't lie to him and make a fool out of him. I cherish our friendship so much to do that to him.

We ride in a cab and went to the cliff where he confessed before. I was surprised to see Shirly and Izzy. They wave their hands at us. We waved back .

" They already know?", I asked Melo while getting out of the cab.

" Not yet", he said and lead me to them.
