CHAPTER 10

"Why are you dressed like this?"

"What's wrong, sir?" Tessa tried to pretend like she didn't know and as if nothing was wrong.

"Your clothes are too strange."

"Where is it weird, sir? You see, I'm wearing a shirt, skirt, and heels in line with other employees. Then where is the mistake?" Tessa stood up, boldly approached Axel, and explained her entire outfit.

"You're trying to catch me out?" Axel looked at Tessa with one eyebrow raised. Axel wondered if the woman in front of him was pretending to be ignorant or just plain stupid.

"Hemm...not at all." Tessa shook her head and lowered her body slightly. She wanted to see how far Axel could resist her temptation.

"Could the honorable Axel tell me where my desk is?" Tessa spoke again with one hand on the back of Axel's chair, her eyes back on the pair of eyes staring back at her.
