CHAPTER 70

Axel stopped by a shop where he remembered that his daughter loved windmill-shaped candy. Before picking Athena up, Axel bought some candy.

"Athena will love it..." Axel smiled touching the various cute shapes of candies displayed in the window.

"Do you have anything else to add, sir?"

"Not enough of these," Axel said as he took out a few bills from his pocket.

After receiving the bag and completing the payment Axel walked back to his car. His foot stepped into the left door and sat behind the steering wheel, placing the plastic bag with his daughter's favorite thing right on his right side.

The smile on Axel's lips didn't stop as his fingers continued to do a little dance as he gripped the steering wheel. The journey to his daughter's school only took about twenty minutes by car, but it seemed like the school was deserted. Axel's feet stepped out of the car into the schoolyard, he tried to find Athena among the students who were still waiting for their parents to pick them up.

"Miss
