Once Levi was out of sight, Asher slumped onto the chair, balled his fist, and mumbled some words out of his mouth. He recalled all that Levi had said from the beginning to the end, and his head focused on the number of zeros in a billion dollars.

An unexpected feeling of anger surged through him as Asher walked closer and closer to Macerio’s body. He smirked and rolled the cord, which connected all his breathing tubes to the socket. Thoughts ran quickly through his mind, while some little voices ringing in his head urged him to cut off the wire.
