The imminent day

Asher paced about with his hands swinging from left to right. He stopped for a while, yelled anxiously, and continued to dial the number again. This early morning, the shareholders were tipped off about last night’s incident owing to the media’s influence, and very early, they threatened to pull their funds away. On hearing this, Asher’s hair stood straight while his fist balled together as he overheard their assumptions. Pretty right and said! Like how he assumed they would think!

They did not even wait to hear the full story and quickly threw all the blame on him.

"Olive, think about it; the shares are dropping fast." Asher cried painfully as his legs trembled on the white tiles. In front of them was Macerio, lying half unconscious on the bed, and then the beeping sound of the machines. "I failed him."
