Mike was getting ready to leave work when his phone rang on the table. He smiled when he saw the caller and picked it up at once.

"Hey baby," he called into the phone with a bright smile on his face.

"Mike," her voice sounded like she was in trouble. "Help me."

"Where are you?" He held the phone against his ear with one hand and pack up his stuff with the other hand.

"I am still in school," she answered and he frowned.

'Why would she need his help on the school premises when there are a lot of people who can help her there.'

"What is going on?" He asked her, his brain refusing to give him a good reason why she needed him to come to get her.

"Please come over Mike, I can't explain everything on the phone," the line went dead at once and he picked up his briefcase before walking out of the office.

Thanks to the road being free from traffic, he got to her school in no time and was surprised to find the whole place empty, except for the security man at the gate and some teacher
