CHAPTER 3. AN INTERVIEW AT SUNSHINE OFFICE

***Sunshine Magazine Publishing Office***

Sunshine's office was quiet at lunchtime. Most employees leave the office for lunch at a restaurant not too far from Sunshine's office. Although there are also some who have lunch at the office.

Raisa belongs to a small group having lunch at the office. The young woman is enjoying the rice bento box she ordered via gojek while checking email on her laptop screen. Raisa uses her lunch time more often while working so she can go home on time.

Today Katherine did not eat lunch outside the office. That Raisa's co-worker had to complete the task given by Mrs. Margot, the senior editor. Katherine also ordered the same bento box rice with Raisa.

"Sa! At three o'clock, the young CEO of a big company will come for an interview,” Katherine said while pressing her laptop keyboard with her mouth full of bento rice.

"Which company is the CEO this time, Kat?" Raisa asked while moving her laptop mouse to open the incoming email in her mailbox.

Every week Sunshine magazine will publish exclusive interviews with young CEO's of big companies in Bali. Raisa and Katherine were assigned the task of summarizing and editing the results of the interview. Then send it to Mrs. Margot for a final check. If there are no mistake, then Mrs. Margot will send it to the publishing department.

One of the young CEO's who had an exclusive interview with Sunshine magazine and left a deep impression on Raisa's heart was the CEO of Wijaya Company, namely Jackson Wijaya. 

The Wijaya Company has grown rapidly under the leadership of Jackson Wijaya for the past five years. The man had been suffering from an eating disorder for decades and has survived to this day. Many famous chefs were recruited to work at Mansion Wijaya. However, nothing has succeeded in curing Jackson Wijaya's disease.

In addition, Jackson Wijaya is a single parent and has a son named Chandra Wijaya, who is five years old. The only son of Jackson Wijaya turned out to be suffering from the same disease as Sherina. Currently Chandra Wijaya is being treated in the VVIP Healing Hands Hospital patient room.

Raisa found out about it from Doctor Elton, an oncologist who treats Sherina. Chandra Wijaya's condition is better than Sherina's. His leukemia is currently receiving intensive care from several specialists in Healing Hands Hospital, so he did not require chemotherapy treatment like Sherina.

“CEO of Saputra Company, Adrian Saputra!” Katherine answered Raisa's question enthusiastically. It was clear that the young woman admired Adrian's figure.

When Raisa heard the name Adrian Saputra, the laptop mouse that was in Raisa's hand almost fell off. The young woman tried to calm her feelings while hoping Katherine didn't notice her little behavior. Only a few people know about her relationship with Adrian.

“Adrian Saputra. 33 years. A hard working man and his main focus is just work, work and work. He was never rumored to have a romantic relationship with any woman. Truly an ideal man," said Katherine excitedly.

"Every young CEO who does an exclusive interview with Sunshine magazine must be the man of your dreams," Raisa joked with a chuckle.

"Hehehe! I really like them all! CEO Adrian has a well-built and sexy body. I can get nosebleeds imagining a six pack under his work shirt,” Katherine answered bluntly.

"Kat! You are so flirty!” shouted Raisa. 

The image of Adrian's six pack body suddenly appeared in Raisa's mind because of Katherine's words, so the young woman shook her head vigorously to chase away the image that made her cheeks blush red.

“Raisa! You must have imagined CEO Adrian's six pack body!” Katherine shouted with joy.

"My innocent mind is contaminated by you," Raisa said, pouting her lips.

Immediately there was laughter from both of them.

Katherine continued her activities while eating rice bento after gossiping happily with Raisa. While Raisa quietly breathed a sigh of relief. 

Earlier, the young woman had deliberately agreed to Katherine's words to cover up the reality of her secret relationship with Adrian. None of her friends know about her relationship with Adrian except Sandra, her best friend since high school.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, Raisa and Katherine were in Mrs. Margot's office on the first floor for an internal editor's meeting. 

As usual, Mrs. Margot assigned the junior editor the task of summarizing and editing the results of the young CEO's exclusive interview this afternoon. This time Raisa was assigned to do the work so Katherine alone returned to the third floor to do another task given by Mrs. Margot.

Meanwhile Raisa was with Charlie, the employee in charge of conducting interviews. They were both on the first floor waiting for Adrian Saputra's arrival. 

Several young unmarried female employees were busy polishing their faces with cosmetic tools from their handbags. Of course their main goal is to attract the attention of CEO Adrian who will be arriving soon.

The clock in Sunshine's office was almost three o'clock. Charlie and Raisa stood at the entrance to Sunshine's office waiting for Adrian Saputra to arrive.

Charlie looked at Raisa who was calm with a natural face without make-up and her hair was neatly tied up.

“Raisa. You didn't wear makeup like them to welcome CEO Adrian?" asked Charlie curiously.

This is the first time that Charlie is partnered with Raisa in an exclusive interview, so Charlie wants to use this opportunity to get to know Raisa's personality closely.

All this time, Charlie has secretly admired Raisa. The young woman was very beautiful and hardworking. All work is always well done and perfect. Apart from that, Raisa always comes and goes home from work on time and never follows an invitation to a nightclub from another friend.

"Later CEO Adrian won't focus on being interviewed by you because he's fascinated by my make-up face," Raisa replied with a smile.

Charlie chuckled at Raisa's joke. The man could feel the honesty in Raisa's words and not just nonsense. His little heart felt happy because Raisa was not a materialistic girl.

At the same time a black Mercedes Benz stopped in front of them. A man got out of the passenger seat next to the driver and opened the back seat door. 

The tall and well-proportioned figure that Raisa recognized very well in the last three months stepped out of the car.

“Welcome, CEO Adrian. Introduce, I'm Charlie who will do the interview today," said Charlie introducing himself in front of Adrian.

Charlie handed over his business card and was received by Bob, Adrian's personal secretary. 

Adrian nodded his head and looked at Raisa with a flat look as if the two of them didn't know each other.

The young woman didn't feel offended in the least as it was a secret agreement between the two of them to act as strangers in public.

“Welcome CEO Adrian. Introducing, I'm Raisa. Sunshine's junior editor," Raisa said while salute by nodding her head slightly. 

Raisa's bag was still on the third floor, on her desk so she didn't have a business card with her at this time.

"Please come in, CEO Adrian," said Charlie, opening the office door.

Raisa and Charlie walked in front to show Adrian the way. The exclusive interview will be conducted in the meeting room on the second floor. 

When Adrian stepped past the female employees, they immediately greeted Adrian with a cheerful face. However, Adrian didn't give them a single glance and focused on the meeting room.

***Meeting room***

Charlie pressed the voice recorder and started an exclusive interview with Adrian Saputra, while Raisa sat near them listening to the results of their interview.

Raisa's slender hands type important things on a special laptop available in the meeting room.

The results of the interview will be collected by Charlie in a file and sent to Raisa's e-mail. The young lady will be summarizing and editing everything. After completion, the results of the report will be sent to Mrs. Margot.

The interview went very smoothly and took almost thirty minutes.

“Thank you CEO Adrian for taking your precious time for an exclusive interview with Sunshine magazine. Soon the cameraman Sunshine will come to take pictures of CEO Adrian. I'll say goodbye first," said Charlie to Adrian.

"Okay," said Adrian briefly.

"Raisa. I will send the file to your email as soon as possible,” said Charlie.

"Okay," Raisa replied, still focused on typing on the laptop keyboard to send the results of the interview file to her email.

The laptop Raisa is currently using is a laptop provided in the meeting room for general use.This is to make it easier for Sunshine employees not to bother bringing their own laptops into the meeting room.

Raisa's clear eyes only focused on her laptop screen. The young woman's ears heard the sound of the meeting room door closing tightly.

Raisa doesn't even notice that Bob, Adrian's personal secretary, comes out with Charlie. Now in the meeting room there is only her and Adrian.
