A Deal Before A Deal

"You fucker," He almost whispered.

I smiled at him and he slapped the gun out of my hands.

"You have a screw lose up there," He commented.

"Now who is the pussy?" I asked. I could almost see the fear in his eyes as he stared at me.

I knew the gun was empty. I have spent to many time with a gun to know when it's loaded.

"Kill that mother fucker and I'll owe you," He said before he walked out.

I leaned back on the wall as my hands went cold all of the sudden.

Tomorrow at night, Mason Moore had to be gone.

I went to my section of the house to get some rest. I had to take of something in the afternoon. We are receiving some new package. I had to be there to finalise the deal with Damon. Before I handled the night business.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Morning came sooner than I expected, I was stretched out in my room. I was always the early bird. I moved around the house and it was still a mess. The maids scurried faster to cleaning as I approached them. Damon was nowhere in sight.

We had to leave in less than three hours to catch the soonest flight to capital city.

In about an hour of pacing and seeing to the chores. Everywhere was squeaky clean. Damon emerged from Where he went and I greeted him and Rodriguez followed. Breakfast was placed in the huge dinning room and everyone joined at the table. They all shoved food into their mouth like beast while Damon ate elegantly.

I watched as they retreated back to their various roles and I stayed still where I was. Damon walked towards me and sat where my plates were previously. He tucked my hair behind my ear and placed his hands underneath my jaw and lifted my head up to look at him.

"Do you know what I like about you? Or why I recruited you?" He asked and I nodded my head.

Damon carried a strong mafia aura that was impossible to dismiss. He let go of my face and smiled at me. His eyes made contact with mine and I felt myself lose my breathe.

"You reeked of revenge, you has hate in your heart and I could see you wanted blood to spill, I knew you would have been perfect, The perfect assassin. And a beauty," He complimented.

I managed to smile.

"The designer will come up to your room to help you with the clothes, if it's not comfortable you don't have to wear it to please me, you're already good looking," He said before he walked away. Everyone knew how much of a flirt he was. So I had normalised everything.

My hands were cold and shaky, out of everyone in the entire mansion I only feared one man. He was capable of anything, and he could murder me at any hour, and he saved my life. So I had to do everything to make him happy.

Shortly, the designer walked into the room with three different outfits in her hands.

"I was waiting," I said to her as she walked in.

"Sorry for the delay I encountered a little problem on the way," She apologised.

I tried on the first fit, red velvet open back dress with a slight on the side.

"Oh Mon dièu! Everything is perfect on your body, here try the other two," She handed them to it.

Later, I settled with a black dress, showed a little cleavage and had a little slit at the side.

All the gowns I had always had slits, it made it easier for me to pull out my gun or knife under the dress. Incase anything happened.

She brushed my hair and applied a little makeup on my face before she dismissed me. Damon and some of the other guards were waiting for me outside.

I stepped out and Damon brought his hands for me to hold. I grabbed it and supported myself to walk down the stairs.

"You look lovely as always," Damon complimented and I smiled.

I was the only girl equipped to go with me because it was to dangerous. We walked into the car and in about some minutes we arrived were his private jet was.

The capital city was busy as always. But the location was in a less populated area. The outside of the restaurant was decorated with roses and fake vines. It had an open roof and the walls looked like they were painted gold. The waiters and waitresses were all dressed in black and blue with Golden platters that held clear wine.

One the girls offered me one as she adjusted the short dress but I just smiled and excused her. I refused because we never drank on duty and it could be spiked.

I linked my hands with Damon's as we walked towards the clients. They stood up as we approached them.

We were the only ones in the restaurant. A perfectly built man pulled a chair backwards for me and I settled down beside Damon. Some of the clients men were sitted at the back in the other chairs. While some stood by the corners, all dressed in black.

"Mr Damon, I'm excited to actually meet you in person," A man with an Italian accent said as he put forth his hands for a shake.

Damon stared at the hands and our men shook it instead. The man chuckled nervously before he returned his hands on the table.

He gestured at one of the waiters and they nodded at him before they bought in the meal and bottles of wine and vodka.

Damon leaned on the chair before he folded his arms.

"Gustavo If I wanted a feast I would have informed you before hand so you'll know, I came here for business, where is it?" He asked and the entire room went cold including me.

I said earlier, he had the aura of a god.

Gustavo cleared his throat before he let out a word, "The walls of this restaurant," He said. Damon stood from the chair and his eyes moved around the restaurant.

He inhaled deeply before he walked toward the wall. He scrapped the wall with his long nails and a little white pack fell to the floor.

He picked it up and opened the packet.

"Lucas," He called one of our men.

He rushed to him and he did a taste test. Lucas whispered something in his ear and Damon nodded.

Damon walked back to the table.

"It is eighty percent pure, I'll offer three thousand per kilogram," He said.

When Damon made a decision it was always hard to convince him. I doubt if there would anyone in this room that could do that.

"But we agreed with five thousand," Gustavo mumbled.

"Why don't you say it louder? So I can hear," Damon said before he placed one of his shot gun on the wooden table. The table was curved at all the edges and was manufactured with a very fine material.

The other two men besides Gustavo grunted, it was obvious they disagreed with the price.

"Do your friends here have anything to say?" Damon asked and they nodded their hands abruptly and he smiled.

He grabbed a piece of bacon and placed it in his mouth.

Damon stared at me before he tapped his hands twice on my leg.

The man on the left was being difficult, he was ready to put up a fight. The signal was to shoot him, but not kill him.

Gustavo's phone dinged and his face lit up with excitement.

"We will get it to you in less than twenty four hours," He said before he stood up.

The man which I now identify as Louis yelled out in pain as I shot his leg from under the table.

Fear shadowed Gustavo's face as he saw blood spill on the floor.

"Next time don't bring friends that will put you in danger," Damon cautioned before he rose.

We all followed behind and the man's screams echoced in the room.

The ride back home was less bumpy. By the time we arrived it was already evening.

"Vivian, don't forget, Rodriguez will give you a ride," Damon informed me ana I just nodded in acknowledgement.

I changed out of the gown, into my assassin attire. I equipped myself. I walked to Harry's door and knocked.

He opened the door.

"What the status on Mason?" I asked.

"Sources say he is still out, meaning you have to strike the stroke of midnight, you know Mason lives in a very busy resident," He said and I nodded.

It was already nine in the night, and the ride to Mason's was atleast two hours. I met Rodriguez in the driver's seat already waiting for me.

"It's time, señorita" He said and I felt my heart sink in my chest.
