The Punishment 1

I stood outside the Mansion with a shawl on my shoulders and bag in my hands. Rodriguez has given to me after he noticed how bad i was shivering.

My legs had automatically shut down, they refused to move forward or backward. my heart beat was loud enough for the Rodriguez behind me to hear.

"Anything wrong?" Rodriguez asked and nodded my head.

I haven't told him that I didn't kill him.

"Are you scared it will be on the news, come on this is not the first time we are doing this," He hit my shoulders lightly.

"I didn't kill him, He woke up," I finally mustered the courage to tell him.

He was going to mock me. He was going to tell me he could have done the job better.

"I understand," He said before he walked away.

I was surprised because the Rodriguez I knew would have laughed at my face. How incompetent I was. I was proud of myself and also selfish.

But he didn't say. He just walked away. I remembered Katy from earlier and i smiled. But then it was short lived because I remembered w
