Chapter 8

Ella’s POV

I woke the next morning to the sound of my ringtone of my phone. Without opening my eyes, I reached for the phone which was laying on my nightstand. It took me a few tries to feel for it before I managed to get it. I hit the button to answer it without even looking at the caller id. “What.” Is all I could get out because I was still half asleep.

“Is that anyway to answer your phone when your best friend is calling you with exciting news?” Samantha said with annoyance.

I rolled over and yawned and rubbed my eyes and looked at my clock to see what time it was. It was eight am on a Saturday morning. Why on Goddess’s green earth would she be calling me at this hour.

“Hello? Ella are you there?” Samantha asked.
