Louisa parked her black SUV in her garage. She had just spent an hour and a half from the company Tomkins House to the house. And yes, she's literally carrying all those work files from her office to the house right now. Louisa also didn't forget to ask Jane – her secretary to clear her schedule for today's meeting, because she had to go home much earlier than usual. Louisa got out of her car and walked around the car, then opened another door to be able to take the pile of files there. Carrying her with both arms and closing the car door again with her elbows.

"Lock the fence back," said Louisa, turning her head for a moment to the housekeeper who was still waiting for her near the fence.

"Yes, Miss," replied the guard, nodding his head in a swift motion.

And the guard immediately locked back the gate of Louisa's house with hasty footsteps. While Louisa stepped both feet into the three-story house there. A house that has a very large front and back yard. What's more, inside was only Louisa, no maids or other workers anymore. That is the underlying cause of Louisa turning into a very independent person. Louisa immediately stepped into her workspace which was on the second floor to put all the files in her hands there right now. The workspace which was dominated by gray to black colors immediately greeted Louisa. The atmosphere of the house is very quiet, sometimes makes Louisa feel lonely. But she has no friends or companions to share with herself.

Brake

“Huh… gosh, this is so tiring,” Louisa muttered as soon as she placed the files right on the top of her desk. Grasping the edge of the table with both slender palms, she lowered her head slightly to control her erratic breathing there now.

Even visible sweat that meets some parts of the face and body. After about two minutes of catching her breath, Louisa started to stand up straight again and walked slowly closer to the window of her workspace that faced directly into the front yard of her house. And opened the curtains so that suddenly the bright light from the sun greeted her, making the originally dark and gloomy workspace turn into a light with dim light. Louisa sighed before finally opening the giant glass window that was directly connected to the balcony wide. And let the fresh air immediately fill her breath right now.

Louisa started to take a few steps and gripped the cold iron on the balcony. The two sea-blue eyes seemed to soften, though they were still clearly cold. She looked around the scene that was there. And her memory goes back to the first year when her parents passed away. Louisa lost her direction and purpose in life. And she prefers to spend her time at the club and drinking alcohol. It was in the same year that she had to work to replace and take over her father's position at the Tomkins House company. “Hmm…” Louisa snapped out of her memory and started to put on a sad lopsided smile with her head bowed briefly.

Without another word, she went back into her workspace. She decided to go to her room to be able to clean herself. Her bedroom is located right in front of her workspace. It had become a habit that Louisa would not be able to focus on work if her body was still sweaty there. Louisa deftly entered the bathroom that was attached to her bedroom. With her hair flowing right under the pouring water, Louisa's eyes remained open. She tried to calm down. But in her mind she always felt confused about many things.

What should I do now? About the Caldor Styles company? Should I meet them first? But if I do, won't it make Uncle feel like he's won later? He must feel that his wishes and orders will be carried out by me. But not. I don't want that to happen. Louisa's mind spoke.

Louisa entered her workspace after finishing cleaning her body. With her casual clothes in the form of shorts and a loose t-shirt, she stepped her feet closer to her desk and sat there. Her right hand reached out to open her desk drawer and took out her glasses case. It was thin and black on the frame, and Louisa quickly put it on. Her long, still wet hair covered her face several times, but Louisa didn't care at all. She began to take some of the files that were in front of her and began to examine them carefully. She had to finish all the paperwork as best she could tonight. At least, that's what will speed up the process of publishing books by writers at Tomkins House.

Almost three hours had passed, Louisa had just finished six files, and there were still five more. Louisa put the pen that she had been holding on to the file that was still open there, then started to take off her glasses and place them on the table. She stretched her body backwards and could feel the muscles in her body that felt extremely stiff there. Meanwhile, the index finger and thumb of her right hand began to slowly massage the bridge of her nose when she felt the fatigue in her eyes. She felt exhausted. "It's seven o'clock at night..." Louisa muttered when she looked directly at the small clock that was on her desk. “I didn't even notice it at all. Time seems to go by really fast.”

Not long after that, Louisa got up from her seat and walked slowly out of the room. The atmosphere of the house is very quiet, really a friend of Louisa's daily life. She even made the lights in her house turn on automatically when someone was inside, a kind of sensor that activates when there is a certain movement. Louisa walked towards the kitchen area of the house, and when she was there, she slowly sighed. She was always like that, confused herself when she would cook food for herself. She wasn't very good at cooking and was always like that.

Louisa immediately approached the refrigerator and opened it. Inside were several things, namely some eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, a jar of chocolate jam, a jar of fruit jam, a box of cheese, a bottle of vanilla milk, a bottle of chocolate milk, a few slices of white bread, a bottle of orange juice and a bottle of apple juice. “I thought, I'll just eat something simple. I'm too lazy to cook on the stove,” Louisa muttered as she took two slices of white bread, cheese, chocolate jam, and vanilla milk.

After that she started to make the food. She put two slices of white bread on a plate, then she gave them chocolate jam and grated cheese, then Louisa piled them up. After that, she took a black ceramic cup and started pouring the vanilla milk. Before long, Louisa brought the plate and cup to the dining table and began to eat it in silence. While chewing, Louisa began to look around her house that was there. There was something else, though Louisa couldn't really tell. Like something. But Louisa didn't care about that feeling anymore, and went back to eating her bread voraciously, and drinking the vanilla milk a few times in the cup. About twenty-five minutes, Louisa finally finished her meal and decided to wash the plates and cups she had just used in the sink.

Louisa quickly turned her head towards the front door of her house, which was still tightly closed there. “It was like a crashing sound… what's wrong?” Louisa muttered with both hands which immediately put the plate and cup back on the dining table. Then she walked with her two feet rushing towards the front door of her house there. Louisa started to peek a little behind the window beside the door.

“Arrrgghhh!!!! Miss!!! Miss don't get out of there!!! Quick, lock the door, Miss!!!” Shouted the guard in a very loud voice from the outside. Which is currently he is trying to be able to deal with five people who are wearing all black. Louisa instantly rolled her eyes with parted lips. There were only three guards in the house who took turns guarding the front, middle and backyard of the house. And the three guards currently facing five suspicious people like that wouldn't be easy to do. They are outnumbered. decisive.

Dor

Dor

Louisa fell to her knees in surprise when she heard the gunshots and when she realized it, there were already two guards who had been shot, while the other had fallen from the wound. And in a hurry, Louisa moved to lock the door of the house and sprinted towards her workspace. She panicked and couldn't think straight right now. But it seemed that the footsteps of her two feet couldn't help her at all to be able to move much faster now. Especially when they realized that the five armed foreigners had managed to force open the door of the house and they began to chase after her. Louisa was moving more and more hurriedly with her breathing no longer erratic, and managed to enter her workspace and locked the door. Louisa took a few steps back with her lips parted to help herself while holding her breath that was still panting there. Then she immediately turned around to pick up her cellphone which was still lying right on her desk there, then opened her cellphone screen in a hurry. She decided to contact someone who could at least help her right now.

Dug

Dug

Louisa turned her head in panic as she brought the cell phone in her right hand to her right ear. “Please… please…” Louisa mumbled over and over with hope.

“Hello, this is the CIA. Who are you talking to at the moment? Can I help you?" The call answered.

“Ha-hello… hello… this is Louisa Tomkins. Someone is forcing their way into my house right now. Three of my guards were injured, two of whom were shot. Please help, "explained Louisa in a hurry while continuing to look at the door to her workspace which was tightly closed and still being tried to be forced open by the five mysterious people.

“Very well, Miss Tomkins. We will send assistance there immediately. Where are you now?”

“I was in my workspace, to be precise on the second floor of my house, and those people were already right in front of my door. They are still trying to force their way inside. I beg you to come here quickly… help me.”

"Okay. Our personnel are already on their way. You calm down first, and make sure you hide in a safe place.”

"Cough... cough..." Before he could answer Louisa coughed for a moment there. She started to cover her mouth and nose with the palm of her left hand when she realized her workspace was already full of smoke now. Not even the windows and balcony of the workspace could help her get some fresh air. Moreover, Louisa's eyes were now starting to feel very sore from being filled with the smoke.

Brug

Louisa narrowed her eyes and realized that her workspace door was open. But she couldn't see clearly, when the sight of her two eyes began to disappear, she felt a blunt object hitting the back of her head quite hard. And everything began to darken with Louisa's body falling hard on the floor of her workspace.
