Louisa woke up from her sleep and immediately sat up when she realized that she was already on the bed in her room. “How can I be in the bedroom? Didn't I fall asleep in the workspace last night. Could it be that Henry brought me here?” mumbled Louisa wonderingly.

Then with a quick movement, she turned her head and looked at the alarm clock that was on the small drawer beside her bed. It's eight past fifteen in the morning. Shit... Louisa's mind complained. Today she was supposed to come to Tomkins House to start an impromptu meeting. And she herself was never late. With a hasty movement, Louisa got up from the bed and ran into the bathroom, and began to clean herself.

Of course it doesn't take long to do that. After that she put on a white shirt, black jeans, black loafers and let her long hair loose normally. Then don't forget to also make sure that the items in the bag are correct and nothing is left behind. She stepped out of the room in a hurry. "Henry? Henry? Are you up already?" Louisa shouted for Henry from the floor of her room.

Henry, who has been in the kitchen since this morning, immediately turned off the stove and ran up the stairs to approach Louisa who was currently in her workspace. "What's wrong Miss? Do you need anything? W-what are you doing now?” Henry asked, catching his breath.

Louisa did not immediately give an answer and instead gave the pile of files she was working on to Henry. “Please take this in the car, I have to go to Tomkins House now. I still have a very important job, and I can't just sit around the house doing nothing. Okay?" said Louisa explained hastily.

Henry himself had the pile of files in his hands. Even so, he subconsciously just silently stared at Louisa with a surprised look in his eyes. Louisa who realized this immediately looked at Henry flatly. "Come on, Henry," she finally said.

"Of course Miss."

Henry quickly walked out of the workspace and ran towards the car that Louisa would use. As for Louisa, she was still checking the things on her desk, to make sure nothing was left the umpteenth time. And Henry, who had put the files in the middle of the car, immediately went back into the house and headed for the kitchen. He put the food he had cooked into a box. Then when he saw Louisa who was rushing out of the house, Henry also accelerated his movement and went out too.

"Henry, you already know the way to Tomkins House, right?" asked Louisa to make sure she was already in the car, followed by Henry who also got into it.

"Of course, Miss. You take it easy, and here," Henry replied as he handed the box containing the food to Louisa who was sitting on the bench behind him. Louisa accepted and looked at him. "You eat all, Miss. At least, your stomach is filled with food and after that you can still take medicine, “continued Henry.

"Okay... thanks," Louisa muttered in response and started to open the box and eat its contents. Inside there is pasta with pesto sauce and don't forget the vegetables that have been cut into small pieces. Louisa ate it silently and slowly.

Meanwhile, Henry started the car at a moderate speed. His right hand moved to put the earphone to his right ear. He was in a position to be ready for anything. Always and also required. "Yes?" Henry received the call.

"Of course sir. I'm in a position ready and alert. Miss Louisa's condition now seems to have started to improve. We are currently on our way to Tomkins House, Miss Louisa says she has important work there. I drove him as a driver today too,” Henry explained in a calm voice.

Meanwhile, Louisa, who had just eaten half the pasta, suddenly stopped. It must be Uncle. Why did he call Henry? Louisa thought. And she decided to close the lunch box again and put it away. Henry himself has returned to focus on driving. "Was that a call from Uncle George?" Louisa asked.

Henry looked at Louisa who was behind him through the glass and nodded his head. "Yes, Miss, it was a call from Mr. George," replied Henry.

"Why did he contact you?" Louisa asked again. She was curious about her uncle's increasingly overprotective attitude towards her.

"Mr. George made sure I was doing well, and asked if your current condition had improved. Mr. George also asked where we were going, after that he just hung up, Miss," Henry explained.

Louisa was silent while nodding her head in a slow motion. She leaned back there, and began to switch to take his cellphone which was in his bag. She typed a message to Jane—her secretary. Which contained that she would come to Tomkins House today and start a meeting to be able to discuss the new writer she considered talented through the file she read last night.

Louisa immediately gripped the chair she was sitting on tightly. "Shit!" Henry cursed and tried to regain control of the steering wheel even though he was struggling. Outside the car that the two of them were in, there was a black car which had just hit them. But that didn't stop Louisa's car at all, and Henry was trying to keep the car moving with difficulty and speed up its movement.

"Who are they?!" Louisa subconsciously shouted.

“Miss, lower your head a little now! I'm afraid they have guns now," Henry said seriously and his face hardened.

Louisa immediately bowed her body slightly as requested by Henry. Louisa's body shook violently with fear. What do these people really want from me? Why are they like trying to get rid of me? Louisa thought to herself. Even so, Louisa couldn't lie to herself if she was scared. Fear of death. She remembered what it was like to lose as a result of death.

Louisa screamed stifled with the palm of her right hand covering her lips. Her eyes were wide with sweat that was already running down her body. There was a small hole in the car's front window. Louisa felt a little grateful when she and Henry were fine. And Henry, he couldn't control himself any more, he felt angry and annoyed. Henry immediately took the gun that he had been carrying behind his back and pointed it at the car that had been crashing his car into Louisa's car for a long time.

Henry fired a shot at the tire of the car, and made it skid slightly, that's when Henry pressed the gas pedal. He no longer cared about the maximum speed that was on the road at this time. All he cared about was the safety of Louisa who was currently still curled up in the backseat according to his request. Henry started driving the car to another area full of shops. Henry parked the car in a quiet alley, he sighed slowly. Trying to calm down, his right hand which was originally carrying the gun immediately slid it back into his back.

“Miss… Miss, are you all right?” Henry turned his back and saw Louisa who was still curled up in the car seat.

Louisa raised her head and her face looked very pale. Her hands still seemed to tremble, before finally plucking up the courage to no longer curl up there. She leaned back in relief and caught her breath. "Yeah... I'm okay... yeah..." Louisa mumbled who wasn't even sure about her current condition.

Henry was silent and increasingly convinced that Louisa was still shaken. "Miss, then let's just go back to the house. Your current condition is still not possible to be able to return to work. And after everything that just happened, I'm not sure you'll be all right now,” Henry decided and started back facing the front, getting ready to start the car.

“But… I still have a lot of work to do. I can't put it off any longer,” Louisa answered with a mumble, trying to resist.

“And did you think that I would let you work after all this? No, Miss. It is my duty as your bodyguard. I have to make sure you're okay while you're under my care. So, I beg you, just go with it. If the situation is safe, then you can return to work. I beg you, Miss," Henry said in a calm and firm tone of voice. His eyes looked around, making sure that the situation was fine.

As for Louisa, she was silent. What Henry said was true. But I can't stop to think about what just happened. Why are they trying so hard to mess with me? Is it possible if they want me gone? But why? Louisa thought endlessly wondering.

After confirming that the situation around them had improved, Henry started to drive the car at a slow speed. As for Louisa, she took her cell phone again and typed a message to Jane, if she suddenly couldn't come to Tomkins House again because her health condition had not fully improved. And yes, she had to try harder to recover and get back to doing her other pending work at Tomkins House. After that, Louisa looked back at Henry who was so serious and in a state of alert, then turned back to the box containing Henry's homemade food which was lying under her. She regretted that she had not had time to spend it. And now the food is wasted.
