“ARE YOU CAN'T WORK WELL?!! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN AGAIN?!! I DON'T CARE, HOW YOU HAVE TO WORK MUCH BETTER THAN THIS. IF NOT I WILL REPORT ALL THIS TO YOUR AGENCY AND ENSURE YOU WILL BE FIRED FROM THERE. AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET A JOB ANYWHERE. UNDERSTAND?!!" shouted Mr. George to Henry who was in front of him.

"Understood, sir." Henry just kept his head down there.

After that Mr. George took his two feet away from there with his long, firm strides. Henry suddenly lifted his head and took a deep breath. Then he began to walk unsteadily into Louisa's bedroom. Henry was surprised when he realized that Louisa was already conscious on the nightstand, and quickened his steps closer to it.

“Miss, you've come to your senses… do you need anything? Wait a minute, I'll call the doctor first," Henry said hastily, pressing the button right next to the nightstand to call the nurse or doctor.

Louisa grimaced slightly when she felt pain in her right shoulder. Louisa sighed tiredly. Shit. What really happened? Why am I even being targeted by those people? Looks like I'll have to report this to the commissioner. Louisa's mind spoke. Louisa was immediately distracted by the arrival of doctors and nurses in the inn room. And Henry immediately shifted his body slightly in another direction so that Louisa could be checked. As for Louisa, she couldn't move and talk too much, because she was trying her best to endure the pain from the wound she got.

"How is Miss Louisa doing, Doctor?" Henry asked. He simply couldn't stop himself from asking.

The doctor turned around and looked at Henry who still looked worried. "Things are much better now. But this is a stitched gunshot wound, so it shouldn't be exposed to water for a while. So, to take a bath, she can still take a bath, but for the wound, it should not be exposed to water. In addition, she also must not carry things that are too heavy and think too much. I'll prescribe the medicine, you can take it later..." explained the doctor to Henry who immediately answered with a nod of his head.

“And yes, Miss Louisa, you have to rest for a week or two, then you can remove the stitches and put some ointment on. Then, I'll excuse myself," said the doctor as he walked out of the inpatient room with the nurse.

“Thank you, Doctor,” Louisa and Henry muttered together.

After that, Henry slightly leaned his body towards Louisa again and looked at her. "Miss, would you like a drink?" Henry asked in a muffled voice.

Louisa lifted her head and shook her head slowly. "Not. I'm not thirsty. But can you help me to sit down? I feel suffocated when I lie down like this…” Louisa answered with a frown on her forehead.

Without answering, Henry swiftly helped Louisa to sit on the nightstand. Of course, by providing a back pillow right on Louisa's back, so she can still feel comfortable. Louisa leaned her body slowly. Louisa couldn't stop to pay attention to Henry who was now starting to position himself to be able to sit right on the chair next to his nightstand. Louisa just realized that Henry's white shirt had blood stains which she believed was her blood.

“Henry, don't you want to change your clothes? It's already dirty with my blood,” Louisa muttered as she continued to watch Henry.

Henry lowered his head for a moment to look at Louisa's blood stains on his shirt, before finally looking back at Louisa with a small smile. "No need Miss. I can change it later. And Miss, please forgive me, for I have been negligent in doing my job. If only I had been vigilant, maybe you wouldn't have been hurt like this. You can fire me if you want. I won't mind, because after all I deserve punishment from you, your Uncle as well as my agency."

Louisa was constantly looking at her cell phone, reading the news about herself that was being covered again. She couldn't help but think of the reporters who loved everything about her and everything that was going on in her life. It's been almost two hours, Louisa is holding the cellphone with her left hand, and she feels increasingly bored. And yes, it's been almost an hour since Henry decided to buy a new shirt at a nearby shop and still hasn't come back. Louisa herself decided that Henry would still work with her, it didn't matter if she let her guard down for a moment and hurt her. After all, Henry had worked hard enough and was more than just a bodyguard so far. Louisa took a deep breath and started turning off her cell phone and placing it right next to her body.

"Who?" Louisa asked while looking curiously at the door of her inpatient room.

"I sent a package for Miss Louisa Tomkins," answered a deep voice behind the door.

"Come in," answered Louisa at last.

The door opened slowly, revealing a man holding a flower package and a balloon in both hands. Louisa was getting more and more confused about the package, moreover she couldn't see the courier clearly. Shortly after, the courier stopped near Louisa's nightstand. “Em… you can put the package on this nightstand.”

But the courier said nothing and remained silent. “Ta-da!!!” Suddenly, the man shouted and showed his face which had been covered by flowers and balloons in his hands. And it turned out to be Henry who wore a cheerful face and a big smile. “Surprise for you, Miss!!”

The surprised Louisa couldn't even stop herself from having a big smile on her face too. Her eyes were sparkling with joy and happiness. And for Louisa, this was the first time she could smile and laugh cheerfully for the first time in five years. And for Henry, this was the first time seeing Louisa smiling happily.
