Throne room

I skipped breakfast. Soon having second thoughts on the matter. My stomach was turning in knots, from fear or hunger I couldn't tell. I wouldn't be surprised if it was both.

Emma had been lecturing me about bad eating habits all morning. In hopes to lure me to the dining room. I hadn't told her what Damion had tried to do. It didn't concern her and she didn't need to know, all she would do is worry more. And her worrying would lead me to worry. Luckily by morning my wrist had healed and was back to normal.

“You know what? If you want to starve fine!” Emma snapped crossing her arms. “Don't come whining to me about it.” She sniffed turning to the window watching the pine trees sway in the wind, the tiny needles fluttered past the window as snow fell lightly.

“You do know that I’m older than you right?” I pointed out holding in a laugh.
