The castle was quiet for the last week. I had the feeling of a trapped animal. Unable to leave yet still free inside the castle walls. It slowly driving my wolf mad and I was itching to shift causing me to be more irritated than usual. Eric and Damion went out to fix the borders borders. I did not ask what that meant, instead I trained with Justin.

“Alright enough of archery you suck.” Justin gestured to the mat.

I scoffed sending a glare at the arrows which had missed the target. Miraculously my ice shards got all bullseyes. Justin was unimpressed as per usual claiming I needed to stop using my magic as a crutch as it would get me nowhere. I was starting to agree. I’d been unable to beat him in hand to hand combat even though I had improved significantly. I could fend him off pretty well even though he was holding back.
