"Alright, I'll consider it," I replied, observing all of them. I was well aware that declining their proposal would likely lead to a divided kingdom. Despite my strength, my realm had thrived since my father's passing primarily because I heeded their counsel.

"Understood. However, your input will be required during our next assembly. Even if your partner bears you a child, we would acknowledge its existence. Yet, we cannot permit a child born of a partner to ascend to the throne. Reflect on this," the chief prime minister articulated, bowing slightly. His gaze then shifted to the others, their nods signifying their endorsement of his words.
