Angela's POV

I never would have believed that I would ever have caught my mate who just told me a few minutes back that he meant all he was saying, with another woman. My heart bleeds as I run, not knowing where I was headed, until mother pulled me back, halting forcefully my movement. As her voice toned in my head as she spoke, I thought I was going to die right there. But the very minute Alpha Syrill's grip pulled me out, I felt relieved that he did promise that he'll protect me, and he actually did.

My heart suddenly leaped for joy as our eyes met; the hate I had a few seconds ago went off me completely as our fire of love rekindled. Shortly after, the thought of mother steers up the fear in my heart. I take a keen look at her as I watch the remaining fluid of her body fade away.
